BIOGRAPHY

Katie Boland was born on February 14, 1988
in Toronto (Ontario), Canada. Her mother is director, producer and
photographer Gale Harvey. She was named Katherine after movie legend
Katherine Hepburn.
Growing up with a mother working in the
industry, it was only natural for Katie to follow suit. In 1995, at the
age of seven, she received her first television role on the Canadian TV
series Lollo Rosso. Other roles followed, including the role of
Kate on the series Noddy. Her first credited role on the big
screen occurred in 1995 in action crime drama The Life Before This.
Other acting highlights include: The Zack Files in which she was
nominated for the 2003 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV
Series (Comedy or Drama) - Supporting Young Actress; the made-for-TV
movie Salem Witch Trials, where she won the 2004 Young Artist Award for
Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special - Leading Young
Actress TV series; a nomination for 2004 Young Artist Award for Best
Performance in an International Feature Film - Leading Young Performance
in the movie Some Things That Stay; and the 2006 Young Artist
Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or
Special - Supporting Young Actress for the TV movie The Man Who Lost
Himself.
Most recently, she has appeared in Away
From Her and is slated to co-star in Mount Pleasant and the made-for-TV
movie Four. She is currently filming the sci-fi thriller Jumping
which stars Hayden Christensen.
